If you're wondering what you can do after completing your Master's degree in LEA ALPI International Business, here are two examples of the possible outcomes of this degree.
Typhaine Volet - Self-employed event organizer
Typhaine Volet, self-entrepreneur and holder of a Master's degree in ALPI, came to talk to us about her career in the events busine ss and the changes this sector has undergone over the last decade. An events specialist from Le Mans, she has worked for the 24h du Mans, where she met Docteur Mamour (actor Patrick Dempsey), and still provides services for the Color Run du Mans and other events such as the 40th anniversary of the University of Le Mans. After working in Valence for CulDeSac TM, a communications and creative agency, as a senior account manager for Bentley, she is now a freelancer. She participates in the organization of various types of events, from festivals to private functions.
She showed us around her world, and emphasized that our training has a very strong value in today's job market, especially as we'll be trilingual by the time we graduate. This moment of exchange gave us the opportunity to fully understand that event management is not just about organizing events, but also about marketing and communication. Typhaine gave us a great account of her adventure after the ALPI master's degree, and also inspired several students in the class to do their internships in event management.
Chloé Cheyenne Bernard - Latin America Export Area Manager
Master ALPI graduate Chloé Cheyenne Bernard is Export Manager at Tonnellerie Bossuet in Cognac. She came to present her duties to us, showing us how to create an action plan from prospecting for a market to completing an export sale. She also gave us plenty of advice on what we needed to know to work as an export manager, particularly in Latin America, and what we should be highlighting in job interviews. This conference gave us a real idea of the kind of assignments we can be expected to carry out in this type of job, and how quickly we can obtain positions of responsibility when we leave university.
